so i’m back from the (mens) retreat with the gathering and it was awesome. everyone who went had a great time and learned lots. i’ve got a few pics, but i didn’t go around snapping them all the time so there’s not many but…there’s a general idea of some things that happened.

many people brought guitars so, naturally, they were being played all the time

we got to have some time on our own…i went out in the rain. some other people did too, they got lost, i laughed, they punched me

projectors are good for powerpoint’s *and* watching movies

tim ate a straw the whole way home and it looked really messed up by the end

jim slept the whole way home and he kept moving around so we tried to give him a pillow and then he kept pushing it away but he was still sleeping and it was funny

but omg, don’t go out of your room! hahaha. or you’ll see this:

a brand spankin new blue thing arrived in my mail today so i hooked it up quickly and got some pictures uploaded. here’s the first batch…

day 1:

As some of you may know, I signed up for that www.freeipods.com thing a while back. Supposedly it’s legit and I’m someday gonna receive an ipod. So far, I completed the order, had 5 other people complete it, got approved, placed an order, and now it says “sent to vendor, waiting on product”. So like…wow, I’m so stoked about getting an ipod…i hope this thing actually works…cause i spent like…$6 so i better be getting a $300 piece of gadgets. Mmmm, i loves the gadgets.

In other news. I’ll be playing Halo 2 when I get back from work because some French people released it on the internet. (i’m not using ‘French people’ in a negative, french-people-are-stupid kind of way but in a the-people-are-actually-french kind of way. i have mad respect for the french and i’m using the phrase mad respect too often). But like…yea Halo 2 is supposed to be good and it’s a good thing I’m fluent in french or I’d be like…Je ne sais pas. Except I wouldn’t..because that’s french, so I wouldn’t know what it means. but i hear maybe there are UK subtitles? or someone is making them and i’m gonna download them later? whatever, it would probably be a lot more entertaining to hear your enemies yelling in french when they get blown up.
