Daily (or not so daily) Update
Didn’t update yesterday cause I left my phone at Papaw and Nana’s. (I call them this instead of my “grandparents” because Papaw is my real actual grandpa but Nana is just an imposter who started pretending to be my grandma after my real one died before I was born…so that’s just a quick story to lessen the confusion you might have as to why I’m referring to them as ‘Papaw’ and ‘Nana’ which, frankly, have been their official titles since I was born…) Had some fun times at the beach though. We went to the coast that’s closest to here. So, mostly straight east. It was fun. There were some hot chicks, and some not-hot chicks, and males standing so close together they must have either been gay or secretly making bets about how old the hot chicks were. They also had some stuff you could rent, like little beach chairs under umbrellas for $10 a day. (this idea came up a few years ago at some youth group function and I swear, it would make so much money…imagine…$10 a day times 50 sitting areas times about 4 groups who use them each day (give or take)…that’s $2000 a day…dang…sometimes I go off on tangents…). We didn’t rent the chairs, but we sat in them anyway. After a couple hours, a guy came by and asked if we paid…and we told him we were leaving to go find a *better* beach. We went to Red Lobster for dinner…I have fond memories of that place…

Today we went to the Peninsula Fine Arts Center.

Too bad none of my pictures captured anything interesting enough to repost on the internet.

We went to Colonial Williamsburg again for the last time before we have to leave tomorrow. There was a weird fuzzy bug with red pointy things coming off his head…I was afraid.

Here’s some more pics of that place

The stocks weren’t generally appreciated by many of the residents of Williamsburg back in the day…but now kids (and especially parents) love them!

Sometimes they do cool marches with the Fife and Drum people. After they marched, they fired off some cannons.

And that’s it, no more posts before I get home…unless I’m bored enough (and have no fear about how big of a total geek I am) to post from the airport.
UPDATE: Since this didn’t even get posted yesterday…and since my post from Sunday night got deleted…I’m reposting this message and the pictures from the last one. (and yes, I am posting from the airport… ::dodges scornful glares::)

(this one is my favorite, it’s from the restaurant “friendly’s”…as you can see, the little girl doll has a plastic bag over her head…yea i’d give that to my kid…NOT)

I should be home sometime at like…9 or so… give me a call if you want to do something.
